Los Cuerudos was a group of armed rebels in the south of Oaxaca, so named because of the leather clothes that they were wearing. Jorge Chacoya became the first mezcal producer in the region when he was only 17 years old, and five generations after his family follows the tradition.
Mezcal produced with agave Tobalà, one of the smallest agave variety. It has a predominant earthy and citrus notes.
