Tequila is a blue agave distilled spirit produced only in Mexico within the designated DO. There are two categories of tequila (Tequila & 100% agave tequila). At COA we only use 100% agave tequila. The former is allowed to add up to 49% of other sugar (such as derived from corn and sugarcane) which produces an inferior product.
