Many extra anejo tequilas are saturated with heavy oak flavors and sugary taste that mask the agave. Not so with Cascahuín XA. This tequila is rich and layered with notes of cooked agave, dried fruit, freshly ground coffee, bitter chocolate and orange. Aged for around 4 years in used American oak barrels.
The Cascahuin distillery located in El Arenal, Jalisco and built in 1904. It is one of the most traditional and high-quality operations in the lowlands of Tequila.
